António Saraiva is an electrical engineer and agronomist, and a professor at the University of São Paulo and has been vice-provost for research, among other positions. He is the head of Planetary Health Brazil and has represented USP in the Planetary Health Alliance since 2016. He is a member of the PHA steering committee and chaired the 2021 Planetary Health Annual Meeting and Festival.
